The Human Services office is located in the Smithfield Senior Center. The Smithfield Senior Center is located at 1 William J. Hawkins Jr. Trail in Deerfield Park.

The Smithfield Food Pantry Market is located inside the East Smithfield Neighborhood Center at 7 Esmond Street 02917 

Hours

The Human Services office is open from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Please call the office prior to your visit.

The Smithfield Food Pantry is open Monday, Wednesday & Friday 10am to 12pm and by appointment.   

Function

 The Human Services Department is responsible for providing services, education and advocacy that promote the health, safety, engagement, and community connection of our residents regardless of age via social and senior services and for such other emergency conditions & incidents which affect public health and well-being as well as other related functions as may be required now, or hereafter, by this Charter, Ordinance, or State law. 

Smithfield Human Services is a confidential resource center. The Smithfield Human Services team works to assist individuals and families with food and heating assistance as well as other services.
