Is there a van available for 55+ and people with disabilities?
Yes, transportation is available to Smithfield Residents 55+ or with disabilities for the following services. Please call 401-949-4590 to schedule any of the following:
Transportation to and from all programs, lunches at the Senior Center, and doctor appointments.
Pharmacies: CVS & Stop & Shop for prescription pickup.
Town Hall and both Smithfield Public Libraries

Dine-In... meals are served Monday - Friday at 12pm. Please reserve your lunch a week in advance.
Pick-Up... is available Wednesdays after 1pm and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday beginning at 11am.
Meals cost $5.00 per piece

Homemade Frozen Soups $3 per pint ... are available for purchase Wednesdays 1-3:30pm and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday beginning 11am to 3:30pm
What is the Senior Center Mission Statement?
The Smithfield Senior Center promotes the social, physical and emotional well being of its members by implementing and maintaining quality education, recreational and wellness programs and activities. The Center is a resource and referral agency, offers luncheons, meals on wheels and transportation for the homebound.
What are the membership dues?
Membership dues are $10 for Smithfield residents, $13 for non-residents.
